Middle Ground

When a handsome stranger arrives in town claiming he co owns her inn, Meyer Ellison is certain it’s a joke.  Unfortunately for her, the proof is very real... buried in a long forgotten document tucked inside the office she’s been meaning to organize for years.

Jackson Vaughan thought he knew everything about his grandmother.  That is, until she posthumously gifts him half of a rundown inn in a small town he’s never even visited. Apparently, her talent for surprises didn’t end with her will.

Fraisier Creek has a reputation for pulling people in and never quite letting them go.  Jackson, however, has no intention of staying.  He wants out and fast.  There’s just one problem: Meyer.  Fiercely protective of her inn and the life she’s built, she refuses to let a city outsider waltz in and start making changes.

Their partnership begins as a tug of war: stubbornness versus stubbornness, renovation plans versus tradition, city ambition versus small town pride.

But when an anonymous threat lands at their door, their fight over the inn suddenly feels small.  Someone wants them gone and they may be willing to do more than send warnings.

Now Meyer and Jackson must decide: keep battling each other, or stand together to protect the one thing tying them both to Fraisier Creek.

Working together might be the last thing they want…
But it could be the only way to survive.
