Reading the Play follows Ryann Newton’s and Carter Flynn’s lives. Ryann’s life was pretty boring. That was until her dad decided they would become a Billet family for their local OHL team. Two weeks later, they were meeting the player that would be living with them. And she didn’t expect him to be the hottest man she had ever seen.

When Carter Flynn first started playing as a goalie, he never imagined he would fly across the province to play in the OHL. The last thing he expected was to fall in love with his Billet family’s daughter. He knew she was off limits and tried to keep his distance.. but his heart had other plans.

When a trip for a wedding exposes their feelings for each other, will they be able to make it work with trades and the impending NHL Draft or will ghosts of the past ruin their chance before it even begins?
