As a child, Artur Crowe stumbled upon something most people believe exists only in stories. While hiding beneath a hawthorn tree, he crossed into the Garden: a mysterious world whispered about in bedtime tales but dismissed as myth by the outside world.
Now grown, Artur has spent years trying to carve out a place for himself among the Garden’s inhabitants. Yet no matter how hard he tries to belong, he can’t shake the feeling that something beneath its beauty is deeply wrong. The Garden may appear peaceful, but its roots are tangled with secrets long buried.
When those secrets begin to surface, Artur finds himself caught in the middle of a conflict that has been brewing for centuries. Forces within the Garden are moving, each with their own vision of what the world should become.
