Us or Them

In the year 2203, the island country of Ceylon has become a warzone tainted by grief, generational trauma, and rivers of bloodshed. The Gildian Empire, which resides in the north, has amassed incredible wealth and power on the backs of enslaved and tortured Tamil natives of this land for many years.

The Freedom Fighters, among other secretive Tamil militant groups in Namor, survived amidst these devastating times, but not without a cost. Their survival means tearing away their humanity, their hearts and souls, to last another day, leaving behind only monsters with the willpower to fight off looming enemies.

Jaya, a troubled girl living in this dystopian nightmare, has seen evil both in the hands of the Empire and in the Freedom Fighters. Tainted and inflicted by unimaginable trauma, still her eyes sear with vengeance for those who wish death upon her. Whether she rises or succumbs forms the crux of this tale.
